Rules
We dedicate this special edition of FIFE-2012 to the French-English Poetry Festival organized by the “La Traductière” magazine in Paris, in the summer of 2012.
The video artists are invited to illustrate, through experimental films, the poems presented at the festival. All the poems will be presented in a French and English bilingual edition (and, potentially, in other languages), while the films will, beyond any doubt, provide their own translation, that of the image.
Last year's collaboration with the prestigious French-English Poetry Festival in Paris, organized by the “La Traductière” magazine, had a great impact among art lovers, all for the benefit of the artwork presented at the festival.
This year, the festival has several poets from Singapore as special guests. The Singaporean poetry presented during the festival will give it a fresh, original note, a new form of meditation that we are tempted to absorb with our traditional, classical interpretation methods, which might, however, prove insufficient. We believe that video artists will have to come up with a very interesting, creative formula to translate this new meditation form. It would be interesting if each artist would send at least one movie that is dedicated to Singaporean poetry.
- Each artist can illustrate a maximum 3 poems as he/she wishes;
- The films have to fit, as duration, between 1.30 and 5 minutes;
- The opening/starting image of the movie has to contain the following inscription:

Regulament
Dedicăm această ediţie specială a FIFE-2012 festivalului franco-englez de poezie organizat în vara acestui an la Paris de către revista LA TRADUCTIERE.
Artiştii video sunt invitaţi să ilustreze poemele prezentate la festival sub formă de filme experimentale. Toate poemele vor fi prezentate în mod normal în editie bilingva franceză şi engleză, existând posibilitatea prezentării lor şi în alte limbi iar filmele vor constitui cu siguranţă o noua formă de traducere, cea a imaginii.
Colaborarea din anii trecuţi cu prestigiosul festival franco-englez de poezie de la Paris organizat de revista La Traductiere a avut un foarte mare ecou in rândul iubitorilor de artă iar din aceasta cel mai mult au avut de cistigat operele prezentate in cadrul festivalului.
Anul acesta invitaţi de onoare în cadrul festivalului sunt o selectie de poeţi din Singapore. Poezia singaporeză prezentă în cadrul festivalului aduce o notă de inedit, o formă nouă de meditaţie pe care de obicei suntem tentaţi să o privim cu vechile noaste mijloace clasice... nu ştiu dacă o sa fie suficient pentru deplina intelegere. Credem că o formulă foarte interesantă în
traducerea acestei noi forme de meditaţie revine artistilor video. Ar fi interesant ca măcar unul din filmele trimise de fiecare artist să fie dedicat poeziei singaporeze.
- Fiecare artist poate sa prezinte maximum 3 filme
- Filmele trebuie să se încadreze ca durată între 1.30 şi 5 minute;
- Pe imaginea de început a filmului trebuie să figureze : Muzeul Florean- FIFE- 2012, “Revue La Traductière n° 30/35e Festival franco-anglais de poésie”, titlul poemului ilustrat şi numele poetului.
- In film trebuie să figureze cel putin 3 versuri din poemul ales spre ilustrare direct pe imagine sau pe banda sonora.
- Filmele trimise vor fi proiectate în timpul festivalului de poezie în locaţii speciale cu a căror lista şi program de proiecţii vom reveni pe site-ul Muzeului Florean www.cmc.ro la rubrica ‘’NEWS’’. Festivalul de poezie din acest an se desfăşoara sub egida "Le lecteur de poesie/The poetry reader".
Alaturat acestui regulament veţi găsi poemele prezentate la acest festival.

Toate filmele trimise vor intra în proprietatea Muzeului Florean inclusiv drepturile de copyright şi difuzare, cu excepţia folosirii lor in scop comercial.
Colecţia de film experimental a Muzeului Florean este un punct de referinţă în filmul experimental contemporan fiind accesibilă tuturor celor care vor sa studieze fenomenul.
Din acest motiv filmele vor fi introduse pe site-ul muzeului http://www.cmc.ro într-un format ce nu permite utilizarea acestora în scop comercial, ci numai in cel artistic.
Nu sunt necesare formulare de înscriere, trimiteţi toate filmele direct pe adresa muzeului însotite de CV-ul artistului.
Filmele vor fi acceptate numai în format DVD sistem PAL.
